How to use this tool for preliminary Taiwan patent search

This tool is a reproducible search interface for the official Taiwan TIPO patent search site. It does not use an LLM to draft conclusions. Instead, it turns your input into traceable search actions for an initial screening pass.

Three entry points

Choose the path that matches the material you already have.

Number search: start from a publication number, notice number, or application number and search TIPO directly.
Text to query: turn a technical description into reproducible search conditions, then add applicant, inventor, date, or IPC filters if needed.
Image search: upload a design or appearance image and continue through the TIPO image-search flow for a first-pass comparison.

Advanced fields and IPC

Use narrower filters only when the technical scope is already clear.
